Allthough i'm no fan of the office, i liked the theme and it was begging to be remixed.

This was amazing, totally changed the atmosphere of a melody.

Now onto the song:

Like every review ive done for your songs... I LOVE the lyrics. They take a pretty fresh look at "Rock bottom"

You've changed you gutair riffs a bit, they don't seem as Shanze-ish haha. Still amazing, beats half the shit coming out of studios.

Good drums. haha.

It kind of reminds me of Foo Fighters, i dunno if you like -- or even know lol -- who they are, but you remind me A LOT of them.

Hitting rock bottom... not something that you actually enjoy when it happens but afterwards you can make a good song while bitching about it!

I hope you find the guitar work in A Small Emergency EP more shanze-ish (assuming that you dig it) cause that one is out next week! All the songs are finally recorded, some with the old system and some with the new..

I love Foo Fighters, they are a major influence as well. The Color and the Shape is one of my favourite albums, dude!

The good, the bad, and the generic.

The good:

Nice meolody, transistions, great feel. Wonderful pacing, never got bored. I enjoyed it alot, leaning back in my chair letting the beat flow through me.

The bad:

Honestly, not alot was bad. A couple synths sounded a little off, and there was a little too much compression, but thats just me being picky. Pretty well off in that area.

The generic:

I swear ive herd this song 100 times. The structure was very basic and didn't suprise me. The "slow" part coming in was expected, and although constructed well, was boring.

In summery: Nothing wrong with it, just might wanna try some new techniques. :D

Lol, i honestly don't remember adding you as a favirote artist, but im glad i did :P

As a listener:

I loved it! Great energy, and had wonderful melodies. Kept me intruigued and listening intensly. Music causes an euphoria that is unlike anything else i've ever experienced. It's powerful shit, and your song is no exception.

As an artist:

Great composition, flowed from one pattern to the next fairly seemlessly. It wasn't repetitive, which is a problem with alot of techno, but it didn't jump from one melody to the next so fast that it gave me a headache... Haha good balance.

I see you complained about your violen, but i think it sounded really good, and the Cheezy-ness was a good thing in this song's case. :P

Did you make your synths yourself, or were they just presets, Gratz if they weren't :D

One of the only things that i didn't like was the snare, might add more reverb on it, or change it to something that isn't as "harsh" it stood out alot.. haha.
P.S. loved the breakdown at the end. Perfect. haha

Overall, awesome!

I dig the kick you used, it was the perfect blend of hardcore kick and trancey.

I like the acoustic break in the middle, pretty badass. might wanna take out that higher synth. It doens't really fit the rest of the song. The lower one was good.

Glad you liked it. The higher synth was an accident. I thought i set it to pitch setting 4, but it's actually set to 1. I'll fix it right away and repost it.

Might want to add a sub-bass. Look it up on youtube if you dont know that that is. lol.

You probably don't need to download Nexus. Just open the file and copy everything over to Sytrus or whatever other plugins you wanna use. That should work.
