All the cheery-ness from the original, and better mixing, and another FOUR minutes.. thats crazy. :P

As much as i loved this, there are still a few things wrong with it..

1st, already covered by Shooting Star, is that its a bit repetitiv, which, given, is kinda hard to avoid with an 8 minute song, but might have a bit more melodies,

2nd, some of the melodies were a bit random sounding, not matching the chord progressions in some parts. It created a bit of a distraction, yet overlook-able.

I'm totally glad you finished this, as it is one of my favorite songs (which is a small club in itself)

Im glad i waited to do the Fixed Mixed to hear this, I'm already cooking up some ideas. XD

Yeah, I'm surprised at how much length was added on, I didn't even know until I started to render it.

Yeah I know it's repetitive...I would've fixed that but I couldn't think up any more melodies :(

I know what yo mean. The synth version of the new piano melody doesn't sound right, I couldn't get the bassline to fit with it properly, I already new that part was a little fucked...

I cant wait to hear that "Fixed Mix" and any other songs that you might realease in the future :)

Straight from the intro i thought : I'm in for a fuckin TRIP...

And a trip it was.

COMPLETELY different from the original, i liked it lots. :D

I had never pictured it being sped up faster than 160 (the original was 140) so when you said you were gonna speed it up to 200! i was a little skeptical...

It paid off though, it sounded awesome. Some of the transitions were a little odd, kind of like a void between to parts, but it wasn't too bad.

Again i fucking love this! The end was my favorite.. :D

Great work, i'm gonna PM you when my "Fixed Mix" Comes out, because its shitty compared to this! XD

Haha, yeah, I was going for a diff approach, I'm happy with how well it worked out.

Fast is good, yes! I tried to do it 140 but it was way to damn slow for my style, I'm glad you liked that too!

Yeah, I could have done smoother transitions but I was going for a fast progressing song, but I see what you mean.

Lol, I figured that last melody there would go good with a slower tempo to it, so I put it at the end so the song could come to a slower stop. That's my fav part too, other that the intro :)

Naw you're remix isn't too bad, but I can't wait to see how you can improve it :D

From a listener's perspective:

Great job, i loved the flow, and it made me want to dance. I think that it was exactly what you wanted it to be, hardstyle epic. lol. Some of the notes clashed a bit. Loved this song.

From a Artist's perspective:

First off, i could never do anything this good. haha.

Great structure, nothing repetitive, or too jumpy. just right. Great mastering, loved the reverb and compression. Some of the synths sounded cheesy (almost 8 bit..) i dunno if you were going for that, but it kind of caught me off guard.

Deffinatly something i would listen to multiple times. :D

But unfortunately someone seems to have destroyed this songs good start with a very low vote, quite disappointing, I guess thats why some people have given up posting on here and started posting on youtube or something, too many people dump good songs to the side...

Were the drums a drum machine, it kinda sounded like it. .

Good structure, lyrics were sort of bland, but they did the job just fine.

Guitar was also kinda bland, except for the solos which were great.

not much to complain about, might wanna mix it up a little, step out of your comfort zone and experiment!

a few notes in that first melody didn't agree with my ears to much, but for the most part the opening was badass!

you should make the second melody one octove higher, it would be like 10x better :D

I didn't really like the bass, it seemed a little too "Square-ish"

this was pretty damn good man, good luck on the final version.

Thanks man! I'll try to change the notes a bit and see if that helps.

Now that I think of it, the second melody would sound a lot better in higher pitch, I'll fix that too.

I happened to like the bass, it was the only one I could find that added to the whole "happy" aspect of the song, but I'll see if another one will fit. :)

To make your FL Keys sound better you have to put them in a mixer track, add reverb, delay, compression, and fix the EQ it'll make it sound Ten times better :D

the second you said "Lies" i could tell the improvement in your recording.

Now onto the song:

Like every review ive done for your songs... I LOVE the lyrics. They take a pretty fresh look at "Rock bottom"

You've changed you gutair riffs a bit, they don't seem as Shanze-ish haha. Still amazing, beats half the shit coming out of studios.

Good drums. haha.

It kind of reminds me of Foo Fighters, i dunno if you like -- or even know lol -- who they are, but you remind me A LOT of them.

Cant wait for more,

Hitting rock bottom... not something that you actually enjoy when it happens but afterwards you can make a good song while bitching about it!

I hope you find the guitar work in A Small Emergency EP more shanze-ish (assuming that you dig it) cause that one is out next week! All the songs are finally recorded, some with the old system and some with the new..

I love Foo Fighters, they are a major influence as well. The Color and the Shape is one of my favourite albums, dude!

But yeah, more is coming and thanks for the review and the 10!
