not bad, the bassline was ultra catchy lol.

Work on your kicks, and transitions :D other than that, nice!

also the synths were kinda cheesy, but i kinda think you were going for that, i dunno :P

haxory responds:

The synths are 8bit :P

Bassline was made nice and dirty.

And yeah, kicks and transitions, I can't deny what you said, they need work.

Thanks for the favour of criticizing :)

Oh fuck dude!

im already pretty high, but im sure this would sound just the same sober, haha.

Definitely liked the progression the song had, had great melodies, great producing.

I've only listened to Surge so i dont know which part is which but i think you guys did a great job. lol.

Not as repetitive as some progressive trance gets which is a nice relief because i hate it when great melodies over stay their welcome. haah

As for the uk hardcore, havent really listened to that style of music, but it didn't really strike me as 'hardcore' unless uk hardcore is different. haha

Either way, i m diggin this mix.

Nice job

Dj-Zurge responds:

Lol, high. Weed amirite?

Thanks man.

I did the drums, progression, and the melodies from 2:12-5:23.

Yeah, tried to change it up alot.

UK Hardore and Hardcore are related, but sound completely different from eachother. UK Hardcore is a mondern for of Happy Hardcore, but with a less childish feel and Supersaw Melodies. Very different form regular hardcore.

Now is The Time (Original) - Scott Brown (Happy Hardcore)
Synthetic Dreams - Scott Brown (UK Hardcore)
Under Paradise - Noize Supressor (Hardcore)
(Just YouTube em)

Later man.

Well i know your gonn' dig DIS!

Nice Production, flows together well, Like the way the instruments come together in the beginning.

The only thing to pick at in the intro (and this is just my opinion) but i dont like the four by four kick pattern, might wanna add a couple accents of a softer kick or something. But i dunno, that might throw off the song a little :P

Im not big on this type of techno (i like more melodic/trancey) but i could tell that the production value in this is very high.

Good work, cant wait to hear more, man, You're really makin a name for yourself on here!! :D

Also, could you stop by my new song? :D

Appreciate it dude! :D

Dj-GST responds:

Thanks man!

That's cool, intros are important because they're what hooks listeners :)

I dunno...I wanted it to be fading slowly and then BAM it starts.

Thanks, I'll have some more up soon. From now on though, I'm also going to be uploading my music to YouTube and SoundCloud, so i can maybe get to making some money :)

:O!!

PM when the full thing comes out :)

Found dubsteb like a month ago and fell into a deep love :D This only helps my obsession. Great and gritty track.

Loved your bass :D

Aydin-Jewelz123 responds:

Haha! Awesome! Funny you say that I only got into dubstep like 2 months ago myself, use to hate it but then stumbled across a few awesome tracks and fell in love aswell :D

Defo! I will let you know when its done :)

ummm....

THIS IS FUCKIN SWEET! i love the intro, sounds very well made, almost studio quality. Nice samples!

It sounds like the melody was reversed and put into a Drum beat... haha. Nice, melody was a bit random and not a whole lot of structure but it was fun :)

I see what you mean with your bass. haha. It sounds nice :D

Thanks for the additional review and thanks for making this song! i liked it :D

liqourish responds:

I'm no good at structure lol. Strings at the begining are not related to the melody at all. Just a demo, not much motivation with the score :/

Although i've listened to the original at least 40 times, I LOVE this song.

Currently its the 2nd top played on my ipod (2nd only to Pennywise) and is the only techno song on my top 25 played... Haha.

So since i liked the original so much, this review might be a lil biased.

The additions were definitely great, and i could hardly tell that it wasnt produced in an actual studio.

Some of the synths sounded a little cheesy, but not TOO bad.

This song has been so much inspiration for me when i write, and to hear it being rebuilt, i'm really excited.

KEEP ME UPDATED!!! haha.

Anways good work, man.

Being-Glass responds:

Wow I had no idea I was ranked 2nd on your ipod charts! Awesome Sethkorn
And thank you for the advice I will work out the kinks on the synths a lil more to make them sound less cheesy for the final rundown of this track.

You will be the first to know of the next rebuild of this track expect more!

Peace and compose on!

There he is!

Its great to see you've found your style! And what a unique style it is. :D

Great opening, great transitions as always, nice samples, and everything.

The only big problem i have with this song is how repetitive it is, but you already pointed out yourself that it only has two melodies, so no big deal. :P

Anyways you did good on this, i love hearing all your old songs with a new vibe, and a new style.

Lookin forward to that colab!

Dj-GST responds:

My style? Hopefully man, hopefully :)

Thanks, I've started experimenting with different transitions, glad too see it's liked :D

Repetitive, yes, just like the original. I probably could have shortened it a bit.

Thanks man, I'll be remixing a couple more so heads up ;)

Me neither man, I thinks it's gonna be a really fun experience.

Later man!

...

ummm.... HOLY FUCK

Is there anything wrong with this song? Hell no. haha.

You have improved a MILLION times since o rly haha, This sounds nearly professional, which is good, considering you want to make a career out of this right? haha

if anything, i would say add more of a chord progression, unless having one droning note as your bassline is ur style (nothin wrong with it, if it is... lol)

The intro was fuckin epic.

I love this song, its nearly orgasmic. lol.

Great job GST, oh wait, Dj Surge :D

Dj-GST responds:

A MILLION times eh? Lol thanks man, and yes, it is my goal to someday make this my career.

I know, I know, but the original had that chord progresson, and It rally suited the song so I kept it that way.

Orgasmic? Mmm...

Thanks Dj Seth :D

...

Dude, i'm diggin this. :D

Kind of reminds me of DimRain47, but not exactly... haha.

You deffinatly got your own style and thats great.

Some things in the beginning didn't work to well. But once the melody started, this song took off.

I think this deserves more views most deffinatly

Peace person! :D

liqourish responds:

dimrain47=my hero

...

Fuck man...

I was expecting a 180 bpm, but then the intro started and caught me off guard.

I think this was a great start into trance. I've been actually thinking about doing a trance song... lol.

Might i suggest you add some more complex melodies. The ones you had were nice but only had a few notes in them.

You keep surprising me dude!

Peace man. Good luck with your trance ventures.

Dj-GST responds:

Lol yeah, slow songs like this are pretty foreign to me.

You should do some Trance man, you're already good with the effects and shit, you'd probably do good :)

Next time I'll be sure to make some more complex melodies, but I thought some "slower" ones would suit the feel of the song better.

I always like surprises :D

Thanks man, you too.

Yo! I'm me, You're you. Now we know eachother. :D I write bad songs. Well, i best be going. Catch ya later!! Peace, dude.
